Jeff: prodromal = early indicator of the onset of a disease state; sublimation = an unconscious defense mechanism in which unacceptable instinctual drives and wishes are modified into more personally and socially acceptable channels; this blog was started as a forum in which to post 1) important news, 2) potentially useful information, 3) links to websites or items i find particularly useful, thought provoking, or entertaining, 4) updates for friends, family, and colleagues on my personal life, and 5) my rantings and ravings for the world at large; for better or worse this blog will focus on those things which interest me: clinical psychology, sports, technology, the internet, reading, faith, and family; this blog was created and is maintained by jeff drury who works as a psychologist and director of crisis services at comprehend inc in maysville kentucky he lives with his wife cathie and their two boys zachary and nicholas and a dog named chipper in maysville ky the information and thoughts in this blog should in no way be taken to reflect any but those of my own
